WoW Forever editions detailed: beta runs Sept 17–Oct 21 with the Epic Pack

Blizzard's pre-purchase post, published during BlizzCon on Sept 12, 2026, confirms how access to WoW Forever works. When Forever launches globally on Nov 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST, access is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.

Three optional upgrades are on sale. The Skyborne Heroic Pack unlocks the new Skyborne race and their Zephras Isle starting experience, plus early name reservation, the Cerulean Prideclaw mount, cosmetics, a toy, housing decor and one Invite-A-Friend code. The Skyborne Epic Pack adds beta access, 30 days of Game Time starting Nov 4, more cosmetics, pets, tabards and three Invite-A-Friend codes in total. The Warcraft Forever Collection adds Warcraft III: Reforged, the Forsaken Kingdom campaign and housing figurines, and is only on sale through Jan 11, 2027.

The beta runs from Sept 17 to Oct 21, 2026 and is included only with the Epic Pack and the Forever Collection. Blizzard's post doesn't state prices; Warcraft Tavern and Icy Veins report the Battle.net Shop listing at $29.99 for the Heroic Pack, $59.99 for the Epic Pack and $79.99 for the Collection.

A physical Collector's Edition is also available from the Blizzard Gear Store, with a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, pins and a companion journal, plus a Warcraft Forever Collection code. Blizzard's post doesn't list its price.

Still unknown: whether the Skyborne race will ever be unlockable without buying a pack.
