Base Forever access comes with any active WoW subscription or Game Time, so no purchase is needed to play at launch on Nov 4. Beta access is the separate part.
Pick the Epic Pack or the Collection
Beta access is bundled with the Skyborne Epic Pack (listed at $59.99) and the Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99), along with early name reservation, cosmetics and 30 days of Game Time. The cheaper Skyborne Heroic Pack doesn't include beta access. Compare every pack in price, editions and subscription.
Confirm beta on your account page
After purchase, check the game list on your Battle.net account for the Forever beta. Blizzard hasn't said exactly when beta access appears after buying.
Install the beta client on Sept 17
The beta opens on Thu, Sept 17 and runs until Oct 21, 2026 (PST). Beta characters can level up to 30, according to the BlizzCon roadmap slide as reported by Output Lag and Blizzard Watch. reported The exact start time and NDA terms are still unknown; we'll post them in News as soon as Blizzard does.
Reserve names from Oct 27
Every upgrade pack, including the Heroic Pack, comes with Early Name Reservation from Oct 27 through Nov 3, 2026 (PST). You can create and customize up to three characters in that window, and names go to whoever claims them first. confirmed
